بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

104:1بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ
Woe to every slanderer backbiter.

104:2الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ
Who gathers wealth and counts it over.

104:3يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ
Thinking that his wealth has made him immortal.
4
104:4كَلَّا لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ
By no means. He will be thrown into the Crusher.

104:5وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ
And what will make you realize what the Crusher is?

104:6نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ
God's kindled Fire.
7
104:7الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ
That laps to the hearts.
8
104:8إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ
It closes in on them.
9
104:9فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ
In extended columns.
