بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

92:1بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى
By the night as it covers.
2
92:2وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّى
And the day as it reveals.
3
92:3وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنْثَى
And He who created the male and the female.
4
92:4إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّى
Your endeavors are indeed diverse.
5
92:5فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَى وَاتَّقَى
As for him who gives and is righteous.
6
92:6وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَى
And confirms goodness.
7
92:7فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَى
We will ease his way towards ease.
8
92:8وَأَمَّا مَنْ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَى
But as for him who is stingy and complacent.
9
92:9وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنَى
And denies goodness.
10
92:10فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْعُسْرَى
We will ease his way towards difficulty.
11
92:11وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّى
And his money will not avail him when he plummets.
12
92:12إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَى
It is upon Us to guide.
13
92:13وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْآخِرَةَ وَالْأُولَى
And to Us belong the Last and the First.
14
92:14فَأَنْذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّى
I have warned you of a Fierce Blaze.
15
92:15لَا يَصْلَاهَا إِلَّا الْأَشْقَى
None will burn in it except the very wicked.
16
92:16الَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى
He who denies and turns away.
17
92:17وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الْأَتْقَى
But the devout will avoid it.
18
92:18الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّى
He who gives his money to become pure.
19
92:19وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ تُجْزَى
Seeking no favor in return.
20
92:20إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَى
Only seeking the acceptance of his Lord, the Most High.
21
92:21وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَى
And he will be satisfied.
