✦ Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya tum log us waqt tak Jannat mein dakhil nahi ho sakte jab tak ki momeen na ban jao aur tum tab tak momeen nahi ho sakte jab tak ki aapas mein muhabbat karne na lag jao kya main tumhe wo baat na batauu jiske karne se tum aapas mein muhabbat karne lagoge, wo ye hai ki tum aapas mein salam ko phailao (yani zyada se zyada salam karo)

حضرت عمران بن حسن رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے ایک شخص نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور اس نے السلام علیکم کہا، آپ نے اسے سلام کا جواب دیا، پھر وہ بیٹھ گیا، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس کو دس نیکیاں ملیں
پھر ایک اور شخص آیا، اس نے السلام علیکم ورحمتہ اﷲ کہا، آپ نے اسے جواب دیا، پھر وہ شخص بھی بیٹھ گیا، آپ نے فرمایا: اس کو بیس نیکیاں ملیں
پھر ایک اور شخص آیا اس نے السلام علیکم ورحمتہ اﷲ وبرکاتہ کہا، آپ نے اسے بھی جواب دیا، پھر وہ بھی بیٹھ گیا، آپ نے فرمایا: اسے تیس نیکیاں ملیں ۔

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ، تم جنت میں داخل نہیں ہو سکتے جب تک کہ تم مومن نہ بن جاؤ اور تم مومن نہیں ہو سکتے جب تک کہ تم آپس میں ایک دوسرے سے محبت نہ کرنے لگو۔ کیا میں تمہیں ایک ایسی چیز نہ بتاؤں کہ اگر تم اسے کرنے لگو تو تم میں باہمی محبت پیدا ہو جائے (وہ یہ کہ) آپس میں سلام کو عام کرو (پھیلاؤ)

✦ अबू हुरैरा रदी अल्लाहू अन्हु से रिवायत है की रसूल-अल्लाह सल-अल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम ने फरमाया तुम लोग उस वक़्त तक जन्नत में दाखिल नहीं हो सकते जब तक की मोमीन ना बन जाओ और तुम तब तक मोमीन नहीं बन सकते जब तक की आपस में मुहब्बत करने ना लग जाओ क्या मैं तुमकों वो बात ना बताऊं जिसके करने से तुम आपस में मुहब्बत करने लगोगे वो ये है की तुम आपस में सलाम को फैलाओ (यानि ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा सलाम करो)

✦ Narrated Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu that the Messenger of Allah Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam said: “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I inform you about a matter which if you do it, then you will love one another? Spread the Salam among each other.”
